I've finally finished my GCSEs and I can't help but feel that those last two years have been a waste. I did fine on my coursework, but the exams keep crawling through my mind, telling me where I went wrong. Perhaps this is just a train of thought that won't leave my mind and might not be true at all, but I'm just glad I'm going sixth form this year no matter my results, the sixth form I'm going to is new and pretty desperate to attract students.

Moving on, my extended summer is opening up with very little to do. I've asked every damn shop for a job and there are none available, which is absolutely fucking annoying as I need money to pay for my prom stuff and other stuff in the holidays. Nearer the end of August I have V Festival, with Muse headlining. Plus I have one or two gigs in between now and then.

Music wise, I've recently discovered the awesomeness of Beck. His quirky music style, whilst confusing, is incredibly cool. A random band mentioned in General (Ghostland Observatory) has got to me and I acquired one of their albums. I've been getting more into electronica and drum 'n' bass music more and more too.

My prom is coming up soon and I'm pretty excited. I actually have a date and everything seems to be going right.There's a few parties afterwards that I'm going to and I plan on staying out most of the night (partying in a tux teehee). But yeah, I'll try and get a picture of me up on here once I get the photos, though I have no scanner, so I bet I'll have to get a friend to do it.
